Student Work
SeAMK Student Work is a meeting point between student work and the world of work. Here, students plan, produce and implement workplace-oriented services as part of their courses, theses or practical training. The services combine the needs of employers with the learning and development of students and working together.
SeAMK Student Work is a multiprofessional practical training environment for health care and social work students. During the practical training, students receive assignments from employers or develop services themselves. The themes of the environment include cooperation with employers, co-creation, preventive action, experiments and innovations, entrepreneurial work, teamwork and self-leadership. In student work, the technologies and facilities of Wellbeing Labs can be used in practice.
For private individuals or groups, the environment offers, for example, a condition testing service, an assessment of functional capacity, wellbeing guidance as well as guidance and counselling for health promotion. Student work aimed at companies, organisations and other actors includes carrying out studies, small-scale research or development work, producing materials, planning, implementation and evaluation related to themed days and different guidance situations.
Some of our activities are subject to a fee and we will develop our services according to your needs. Services are available during the students’ practical training periods and seasonally according to how their courses are implemented. Our environment and our actors would be happy to participate in co-creation.
